Hipster interior.

Hipster apartment.

The hipster style apartment is crisp and relaxed. Original and innovative equipment, always goes hand in hand with functionality. This is not a hipster that adapts to the interior - interior to the hipster!

The word "hipster" is heard today. On the street every now and then you meet elegant, bearded young people, stylish, smartly dressed. The hipster movement emerged in the United States in 1940. Literally hip is translated from English as "to be in the subject."

Modern hipsters are usually associated with advanced young guys in all respects. As a rule, the majority have not yet reached the age of thirty. They devote a lot of time to appearance, education, environment and, of course, the interior of their apartment.

To get closer to the rules of hipster interior design, it's worth knowing their tenant!
The main determinant of this group is a clear aversion to popular culture. For a hipster, originality is important and what sets him apart from the mainstream. He cares about his image as well as the interior. In both cases, he seeks clarity and unique solutions, even if it means DIY (do it yourself). He appreciates the dissimilarity and creativity of solutions, as well as simple forms if there is an interesting idea behind them.

When you enter a hipster's apartment, you get the impression of chaos. Patterns and colors often overhear each other, and furniture from different design poles seems to be fighting for dominance. Although at first glance, the individual elements of the interior do not match, they form a coherent whole, at the same time expressing the curvaceous personality of the hipster and reflecting his direct approach to life.

The hipsters are not organized in well-known DIY chains and stores. His apartment doesn't look like one seen in interior magazines. The #Hipster style does not reflect the offer of trendy interior stores in the city. Even if one of the wallpaper-covered walls remembers the 80s, it's a pleasure for a hipster! It's always better than copying what others have.
Retro and handmade.
A sense of simple shapes often brings hipster style closer to vintage aesthetics. After all, items inherited from grandparents usually guarantee uniqueness. In a hipster house, there is always room for a wall block from the distant years or a table from school days taken from the parents' house. Old? It does not matter! You can always ask a graffiti artist friend to freshen them up a bit. Every hipster also appreciates crafts, and acquaintances in the local art market sometimes showcase original interior design elements.

Exaggerated extravagance and eclecticism create a kind of collage, visible both in clothing and in hipster-style interior design. The hipster regularly purchases the necessary items, does not plan a comprehensive interior. And regardless of whether young people go to college and only at the beginning of their careers, or they are advanced youth, in whose hands all the money is concentrated, everyone is looking for creative solutions. A bookcase made of wooden boxes looks very unusual and does not require a lot of money, it is original! Likewise, a pallet bed or light bulb is suspended from a colored cable - simple, cheap, functional and unique.

The taste for plastic forms manifests itself in posters or paintings in the spirit of the Artists. The hipster house has several monolithic and monotonous elements in color. There are often colorful chairs around the table, and colorful pillows dominate the bedroom. The hipster loves graphic styling elements. These are retro glasses with thick frames or mustaches of any length - the typical element that complements the outfit. But also in the form of decorations on walls and furniture.

Hipster creative is suitable for common interior items. After all, there is nothing wrong with making room for clothes hangers or putting a few plates and cups in a library with books. It is important that everything you need is always at hand. Hipster no-holds-barred also has a mix of kitsch and glamorous pieces. He likes to look for unconventional applications for common and commercial things. He usually has personal interests and falls into rare, preferably artistic professions, which he sometimes displays in his apartment, and surrounds himself with what creates positive associations.
Randomness and spontaneity are part of the hipster style.
