This style originated in France during the Great French Revolution, when Napoleon demanded pomp and solemnity in everything, in particular in the interior decoration of the chambers.

Empire style is a solemn, ceremonial, military triumphal style that imitates the chic and luxury of the Roman Empire. Rich decor with motives of military emblems. The shapes are massive and simplified. The monumentality is emphasized, an intellectual atmosphere reigns, a holiday, a parade.

Used mahogany, ebony. The bright colors of the Napoleonic flag are characteristic (red, blue, white). Also gilding, crystal, metal, glass, forging, fabrics, porcelain.

No thread is used! On the furniture there are bronze and gilded overlays, smooth lines, friezes, canopies. Egyptian ornament.

Rectangular, massive furniture, round and oval tables, bookcases with lattices, porcelain cabinets, open sideboards, showcases. Legs of beds, tables, armchairs in the form of lion paws, griffins, sphinxes, backs of chairs in the form of a lyre, dressing tables, jardinieres - round stands for flowers, clavichords - standing mirrors - "psiche".

Multi-arm wall lamps, bronze chandeliers, glass pendants. Rich decor with motives of military emblems: crossed swords and spears, shields and helmets, laurel wreaths.

The rich Empire-style bathroom interior can be realized in a spacious room. The bathroom interior is being created using natural materials - granite, marble, ceramics. The bathroom and sink for the Empire style interior are selected with rounded shapes. The color range is rich, from light cream to pink magenta. For decorative purposes, gilded or bronze inserts are actively used in the decoration of the walls and ceiling.

Figured stucco molding, bent legs in the form of lions' paws, griffins, sphinxes - this is what distinguishes the Empire from modern styles. Shelves, cabinet, bedside table with stylized bronze and gilded overlays will fit into the interior. A mirror in a gilded frame, multi-arm lamps in metal frames, various figurines on the shelves - the finishing touches of the composition.
